Inspect and test electrical/electronic power equipment (transformers, circuit breakers)
Troubleshoot AC/DC power/control circuits up to 480V; perform occasional repairs
Program electronic devices, document results, generate test reports
Must-have skills
Proficiency with voltmeter and current meter
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings
Experience with hand tools; electrical safety procedures (PPE, LOTO)
Computer literacy (Excel, Word); documentation discipline
Electrical troubleshooting and measurement tool usage
Strong written and oral communication
Nice-to-haves
Some programming knowledge
Knowledge of NEC code
Experience with electrical parts assembly/wiring

Position Description: Test Technician The Test Technician at LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. will be responsible for implementing appropriate test methods, utilizing necessary test equipment, implementing test procedures and software, and providing a lead role in the testing of newly developed products and standard production testing. The Test Technician will operate on all types of test instruments and will have limited supervision.
