Role & seniority: Test Technician, on-site; entry to mid-level, lead in testing efforts for new products and production testing
Stack/tools: electrical test equipment (voltmeter, current meter); schematics/wiring diagrams; hand tools; electrical PPE; Lock-out/Tag-out; basic programming knowledge; Excel/Word; measurement tools
Inspect and test electrical/electronic power equipment (transformers, circuit breakers) and power/control circuits up to 480V
Troubleshoot faults, perform occasional repairs to control, power, and fiber optic assemblies; program devices; interface with computer/software
Complete test reports and documentation; maintain accurate records and support standard production testing
Proficiency with voltmeter and current meter; ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
Experience with hand tools; electrical PPE and standard safety procedures (LOTO)
Computer proficiency (Excel, Word); electrical/component troubleshooting; strong written and verbal communication
Some programming knowledge; NEC code familiarity
Electrical parts assembly or wiring experience

Position Description: Test Technician The Test Technician at LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. will be responsible for implementing appropriate test methods, utilizing necessary test equipment, implementing test procedures and software, and providing a lead role in the testing of newly developed products and standard production testing. The Test Technician will operate on all types of test instruments and will have limited supervision.
