Position Summary
This Quality Engineering intern position will assist in defining and developing products and processes in both the development and manufacturing environments. They will assist in a variety of quality tasks, including implementations, CAPAs, risk management, supplier quality, calibration, documentation updates, and problem solving projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in development, documentation, and implementation to domestic and international standards or requirements. Assist in audit processes as needed, including planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up activities. Identify areas of improvement for quality programs including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem solving. Work with engineers and technicians to develop and implement process improvements. Troubleshoot to plan, control, and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles - including planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems. Assist in quality implementation planning (tools and processes). Communicate with engineering team as required on quality activities.
Must Have
2 years minimum completed towards an engineering degree. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite. Above average oral and written communication skills with in-house technical personnel and outside vendors and customers. Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, materials properties. Ability to interpret technical drawings and technical documents. Ability to commute on-site daily and participate in full internship program.
Salary Range: $20.00/hour
