As a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector, one will work closely with our quality assurance professionals to support our team with administrative, compliance, and operational tasks. This role is an on-site position, ideal for someone who is comfortable with computers, communicating with team members and suppliers, and excellent attention to detail.
Ensure certification packages are accurate and complete.
Ability to communicate and question Suppliers regarding purchase requirements and ensure compliance.
Ensure systems are maintained and kept up to date on certification packages received.
Conduct compliance system audits to identify and address gaps.
Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with material compliance, acceptance and production.
Develop and maintain records related to material compliance.
Performs other related duties as assigned, such as production support/inspection of product.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers.
Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to find, understand, and organize documents.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance.
4-year bachelor's degree.
Education may be waived based on experience with 2-year associate degree.
