Translate requirements into structured test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases

5+ years in Software Quality Assurance
Strong API testing experience

Our São Paulo team works closely with development teams to ensure stable, reliable software before release. Role Overview This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) role based in São Paulo.
This position focuses on structured test design, deployment validation, API verification, and risk identification across multiple environments. You will collaborate closely with developers in daily scrums while reporting directly to the QA Team Manager.
This role emphasizes analytical thinking, detailed documentation, and strong defect lifecycle management. It does not require building automation frameworks. Success in this role is defined by clarity of test design, proactive risk identification, and thorough validation before release. Key Responsibilities Translate product requirements into structured test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases Provide accurate test effort estimates during sprint planning Maintain and prioritize defect backlogs Validate deployments across stable, beta, integration, and production environments Analyze logs, API traces, and system behavior to isolate and debug defects Perform manual API validation and SDK integration testing Support UAT and front-end UX validation Apply QA practices to eCommerce workflows (checkout, payment gateways, security/privacy requirements) Conduct usability, responsiveness, and cross-browser testing Deliver structured documentation to support future automation initiatives Work independently with strong ownership and minimal supervision Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Strong understanding of SQA principles and defect lifecycle processes Experience with TestRail and Jira Strong API testing experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively in English Nice to Have Experience with eCommerce systems Familiarity with authentication systems Basic knowledge of Java or C# Exposure to GitHub and CI/CD pipelines Compensation
