Role & seniority: Senior Automation Engineer
Stack/tools: Automation and control systems; offshore facilities (FPSO context); HSSE and integrity standards; BMS framework; English and Norwegian language proficiency; adherence to relevant discipline standards/guidelines
Plan and execute modifications within own field for the project
Provide technical support to resolve direct and short-term actions
Ensure technical integrity and compliance with performance standards; maintain cooperation with critical suppliers/contractors; support safe, in-control, and efficient management of field equipment and systems; drive continuous improvement and standardization across offshore assets
Master of Science or similar in Automation (control systems preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ design/operation experience with offshore facilities, ideally oil & gas
Knowledge of relevant discipline standards/guidelines
Systematic, reliable work approach; continuous improvement mindset
Strong communications in Norwegian and English
Experience with FPSO environments
Deeper HSSE/industrial safety exposure
Track record of cross-functional collaboration and standardization initiatives

Responsible for planning and execution of modifications within own field for the project Technical support resolving direct and short-term actions Ensure technical integrity criterias are met and maintained for related performance standards. Ensure close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors. Support and plan activities in order to provide safe, in-control and efficient management of field equipment and systems within domain for the FPSO. Strong commitment to the HSSE, integrity and automation standards within client when carrying out the responsibilities, delivering safe, efficient and reliable operations within the framework of our management system (BMS). You will support client common strategies to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and efficient across all client offshore assets.
Master of Science or similar in Automation, preferably with specialization in Control systems Minimum 5 years of experience with design and operation of offshore facilities and systems, preferably within the oil & gas industry. Experience and understanding related to all relevant discipline standards and guidelines Systematic, structured and reliable in the performance of daily tasks. Dedication and a personal drive for continuous improvement Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
