Overview The CoE QA provides independent assurance on RCSA CoE control testing delivery, ensuring outcomes meet enterprise, regulatory, and CoE quality standards. The role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the QA methodology and framework, identifying systemic quality issues, and ensuring consistent application of testing standards across the CoE.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus Own and maintain the end to end Quality Assurance (QA) Framework for control testing CoE, including annual refreshes, methodology updates, and integration of regulatory changes. Partner with the CoE Manager to define QA strategy and tracking quality indicators over time. Provide meaningful insights from QA outcomes to support continuous enhancement of the control testing policy and methodologies Contribute to the review, enhancement and development of controls, as may be required. Operational Excellence Conduct end-to-end independent QA review of testing conducted by all testers, ensuring unbiased quality assessments. Review adherence to data quality standards including control testing methodologies, sampling requirements, evidence traceability, naming conventions, document retention protocols etc. Ensure QA findings are well‑documented, trackable, and accompanied by actionable recommendations to strengthen methodology compliance. Maintain QA logs, quality dashboards, testing scorecards, and trend analysis to enable CoE leadership visibility. Lead root‑cause analysis sessions to identify recurring QA failures and propose structural improvements. Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, or simplifications to uplift efficiency and effectiveness of the testing program. People Leadership Conduct QA calibration workshops to ensure consistency across testers. Build capability by contributing to training materials, QA handbooks, and best-practice guides. Partner with the CoE Manager to support onboarding and technical development plans for new testers. Risk & Governance Maintain and enforce the QA Framework to ensure all control testing meets enterprise policies, regulatory expectations, and MPMS methodology standards, supporting a consistently strong risk posture across the CoE. Conduct independent QA reviews to uncover recurring quality issues, thematic weaknesses, and methodology non compliance; provide actionable recommendations and partner with stakeholders to strengthen governance processes and improve overall control effectiveness. Maintain comprehensive QA logs, scorecards, and dashboards to monitor quality trends, emerging risks, and exceptions, escalating material findings to CoE leadership to reinforce accountability and governance discipline. Experience & Personal Attributes 5–7 years’ experience in risk management (RCSA, controls testing, controls review, internal audit, SOX etc.) in Financial Services industry Demonstrated experience in developing and implementation of Quality Assurance framework and reviews preferably in a shared service or CoE environment Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills High accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset. minimal oversight Excellent stakeholder management, people management, coaching and mentoring skills CA/CIA/CISA/MBA or equivalent
