Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? We are looking for a highly motivated Automation Quality Engineer with proven automation testing experience to join our QE team in Core and Realtime Payments. This individual will work collaboratively with developers and platform engineers to enable faster delivery and ensure high quality through test automation, CI/CD integration and AI adoption. This is a hands-on, technical role offering the opportunity to develop intelligent automation solutions, implement AI-driven testing strategies, and contribute to enterprise-level payment transformation initiatives. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Drive automation testing initiatives, develop and maintain automated test suites under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy Adopt AI–driven testing solutions to enhance test automation framework, test coverage, accelerate & optimize the test case & test automation scripts creation Experience with WireMock or similar tools for service virtualization or stubbing Closely work with Dev/Ops team to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous deployment of payment processing services Perform different levels of testing based on business requirements – Functional, Regression, Integration and E2E Testing. Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions Partnering with the Performance Engineering team to plan & execute performance test cycles on assigned applications/projects. Effectively collaborate with project team members (PM/Scrum Masters, Dev and Business Analysts), stakeholders and business partners Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings What do you need to succeed? Must-have Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support Minimum 5 years of experience in testing with a focus on automated testing in a variety of environments (mainframe, Cloud, distributed, business workflows and services/APIs). Solid experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Postman, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG), BDD framework (e.g. Cucumber, Karate) and development languages (e.g. Java, Python) Experience in mainframe testing - Batch, Host, JCL, TSO, ZEKE, REXX Experience of integrating automated tests into GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, UCD, Helios); familiarity with build tools like Gradle/Maven Familiarity with integrating AI agents into the developer workflow to automate repetitive validation tasks, enhance test automation, and improve testing efficiency Knowledge of Testing Methodologies and Design techniques with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence. Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills Database technologies (e.g. DB2, Oracle, SQL, IMS) and strong SQL experience.
