The Schiebel Group is a globally operating high-tech company and market leader in the field of unmanned, 200 kg, helicopters (CAMCOPTER ® S-100) and mine detection systems. For us, it's not just about technology - it's about visions that take flight!

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA to drive quality assurance across complex software systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, lead QA strategy, manage test cycles, and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software.

This role requires hands-on involvement, leadership capability, and structured execution discipline.

Your Mission

Define and implement the overall QA strategy, test approach, and quality standards Lead and mentor QA engineers (manual and automation) Design, review, and approve test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Oversee functional, regression, integration, and system testing cycles Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI, and integration testing Ensure proper defect tracking, prioritization, and closure in collaboration with engineering teams Monitor test coverage, quality metrics, and defect trends Drive release readiness reviews and provide quality signoffs Collaborate closely with developers and Stake holder Establish and enforce QA documentation and reporting standards

What You Bring

6–10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a QA leadership role Strong experience in manual testing methodologies and best practices Hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks and scripting Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Experience in writing and reviewing structured test documentation Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred experience in Automation & Testing Tools

Programming Languages: Python and C++

CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines

Bug Tracking & Management: Notion, JIRA

Version Control: Git

Protocol / Integration Testing (Optional): Wireshark, API validators

The following features would be a clear advantage

Experience in testing integration-heavy or mission-critical systems preferably Aviation software Exposure to automation of API and backend services Knowledge of basic networking concepts and system integration testing Experience in test environment setup and release validation
