This is a really exciting time for us here at PAT Test UK as we continue to expand and grow in 2026! We are looking for a home based PAT Tester to join our team. We are proud of the service we deliver, and we are always there for our clients, so we’re looking for people who share our passion, are positive, enjoy practical work and are able to deliver great customer service to proudly represent our business. Ideally, we are looking for an individual who is already a City & Guilds 2377 qualified PAT Tester or PAT Test Engineer, however we offer full training, so these qualifications are not needed. Some experience in a practical role would be an advantage though you just need to be keen to learn and take pride in your work. The role is Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours a week including paid lunch. You must have a full clean driving licence as we give you a company van to get around in and you’ll also be flexible and available for overnight stays for those clients who are a bit further away. Expenses are covered and a fuel card is also provided. We offer a high standard of training when you join us to get you up to speed with our services and we want to see our team grow and develop, so we offer ongoing training and opportunities to upskill and gain qualifications. Our ethos is being ‘one of the team’ for our clients, so there is always on-going support from the senior management team.
In return we will provide all the relevant training and you will be welcomed and supported by a team and an organisation that cares about you as a person and your wellbeing. Some of the other benefits are
- Holiday entitlement of 26 days plus bank holidays
- Bonus scheme based on productivity.
- Opportunity to progress your career across the entire Ardonagh family.
- Gain qualifications to boost your knowledge and career prospects.
- Pension scheme for when you feel it’s time to retire
- 24-hour support for physical and mental wellbeing
- 1 days paid volunteering day to give back to our communities.
- The Spotlight Awards, where we shine a light on the brightest talent across our group.
- Corporate perks such as discounted gym memberships, cinema tickets and other items
- Life Assurance and Group Income Protection
