Payments Platform provides secure environment enabling superior payment experiences to empower our customers with trusted payments. This role sits within Cross Border domain in Payments Tribe, which supports and modernizes our critical international payment systems and services, to ensure we meet best practice and our ongoing customer demand.
As a Test Engineer, you will apply your quality assurance and test automation expertise to help the team in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the squad.
You'll be part of a team on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. Skills
Reviewing requirements and specifications. Plan and estimate testing efforts and creating test plans and scripts. Building and supporting test automation scripts and testcases. Verifying and validating functionality being developed. Analysing and reporting test results. Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign- off. Attention to details is key to identify issues within functionalities. Meeting our regulatory requirements from RBNZ and International organisations. Redesign our internal solutions to use modern cloud technology.

2+ years of test engineering experience. Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, end to end testing. Experience in developing, maintaining and executing automation tests. Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps. Working knowledge of SQL and CosmosDB. Good understanding in DevOps and Cloud technologies (i.e. Azure).
In Addition, The Following Would Be An Advantage
Financial/banking domain experience. Performance testing experience (i.e. LoadRunner, JMeter, K6)
Working experience in test simulators (Eg: FINSIM). Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals.
