Job Title: QA Engineer II Experience: 3–6 years Job Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer II with strong functional testing expertise in SAP S/4HANA environments. The role focuses on Retail, Procurement (P2P), Materials Management (MM), and Finance (FICO) domains. The ideal candidate demonstrates technical depth and quality ownership, acting as a trusted QA partner to business and delivery teams. This role requires proactive participation in test planning, execution, and quality decision-making, along with exposure to automation frameworks and modern SAP platforms. Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Joule, Open Text, Ariba, or cloud-native extensions is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Independently drive and support Functional Integration Testing (FIT), Integration Test Cycles (ITC), UAT planning and execution, SAP upgrade testing, and post-production validation, in close coordination with business stakeholders. Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities across Procurement (P2P), Materials Management (MM), and Finance (FICO) modules. Develop, review, and maintain high-quality test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution documentation, ensuring full business coverage. Act as a key QA point of contact for functional consultants, developers, and business SMEs, contributing to requirement clarification and design discussions. Independently manage defect identification, documentation, tracking, and retesting, and actively participate in defect triage and resolution discussions. Execute and support regression testing strategies for system updates, transports, enhancements, and release deployments. Identify and assist for test automation opportunities; hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA is a strong plus. Consistently uphold and promote QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices across the project lifecycle. Required Technical Skills Strong ability to analyze Business Process Documents (BPD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), process flows, and technical documentation. Hands-on functional testing experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Edition implementations or upgrades. Strong functional knowledge of: Procurement (P2P) Materials Management (MM) Finance (FICO) Experience testing IDocs, EDI files, SAP Fiori applications, workflows, and integrations. Proficiency with test and defect management tools such as Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, or similar platforms. Strong skills in test design, execution, reporting, and defect lifecycle management.
