What You Will Do: Production Test Engineering (PTE) is looking for a highly motivated individual to support testing of production Engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APU) at the West Palm Beach (WPB) Engine Center. The Production Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring every engine demonstrates all test requirements, resolves issues involving the test stand, data acquisition, and the engine. WPB currently supports testing for the F135, FT4000 Gas Turbine, PW1100G NEO, and 16 types of (APU). Individuals must be able to successfully communicate with others to meet all program requirements. This can be a demanding and challenging role, but also highly rewarding and impactful. This is a AWW1 position, working hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6AM to 6PM Key Responsibilities: Execute troubleshooting on Engine & APU, test systems hardware, and software. Evaluate/Trend Engine/APU performance data/execution to ensure engines meet performance specifications outlined in the engine specific test procedures.
