Role & seniority: Test Lead (hands-on contract); multiple roles available; end-to-end ownership of testing outcomes within a large enterprise migration program.

We are currently seeking experienced Test Leads to join a large, enterprise‑scale banking infrastructure program delivering critical platform and application migrations. This is a hands‑on contract opportunity working on one of the organisation's core systems, with multiple roles available due to program scale. This role will suit Test Leads who have worked on complex infrastructure and integration projects, not just application testing, and who are comfortable owning testing outcomes end‑to‑end.
About the Role
You will be embedded in a major transformation program with multiple workstreams, working closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, vendors, and delivery leads. The focus is on ensuring stability, performance, and integration integrity as applications are migrated to new infrastructure. There are three Test Lead roles available, with contracts running through to the end of the year, and potential short extensions depending on program timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive end‑to‑end test strategy, planning, and execution Lead functional and non‑functional testing across infrastructure and application migrations Design and execute performance testing using JMeter (hands‑on) Validate complex upstream and downstream integrations, including interfaces and dependencies Work closely with infrastructure teams (network, firewall, environments) to test configuration changes Coordinate testing across multiple vendors and application teams Support cutover and post‑migration validation to ensure minimal business impact Identify, manage, and communicate testing risks and defects clearly to stakeholders
Key Requirements
