Full Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our innovative products and solutions within the Rohde-Schwarz Critical Infrastructure & Networks division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing product quality, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the overall success of our solutions. Join our dynamic global team, collaborating on cutting-edge software and hardware development projects.
Your tasks
Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and validation processes Take ownership of day-to-day quality issues and escalate as necessary Collaborate closely with R&D System Engineering and Support teams to identify and implement optimal technical solutions Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive suite of user scenarios, test cases, and checklists, while manually executing functional and non-functional tests Drive best practices for manual test execution and management Design, deploy, and maintain the internal infrastructure needed for testing Analyze real-world customer issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions Build and maintain Testing Systems/Environments.
Your Qualifications
University degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong foundation in QA methodologies and tools Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Familiarity with test management tools (such as JIRA, TestRail) for tracking test cases and defects Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and/or Python, with hands-on experience in Linux environments Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, oVirt, Proxmox) Good understanding of networking concepts (L2/L3) and network problem debugging Familiarity with telecommunications and VOIP protocols Excellent English communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, can-do attitude Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure according to R&D priorities Highly organized with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
