About This Role
LVT is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern to support our engineering team in ensuring the highest standards of software quality. In this role, you will focus on the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test case creation, management, and execution. You will also contribute directly to our automated testing frameworks, playing a vital role in developing technology that makes communities safer and more secure.
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers on comprehensive testing strategies and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery. Contribute to the development and maintenance of both manual and automated test cases. Actively participate in release management to support stable and timely software deployments. Contribute to the LVT test automation framework, improving our ability to scale quality assurance. Engage in the full Agile development lifecycle, including active participation in sprint planning and retrospectives.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Programming Proficiency: Competence in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or JavaScript.
Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Pytest or Playwright.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a genuine passion for technology and innovation.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team environment.
