Role & seniority: Test Engineer (m/f/d) for Automated Driving; mid-level with ~1–2+ years of relevant experience
Stack/tools: Complete vehicle/driver assistance system testing; ADAS technologies; LIDAR, RADAR, ultrasound, cameras; in-vehicle measurement and data analysis; experimental system commissioning and adaptation
Conduct test drives on national routes to validate driver assistance and automated driving functions
Independently commission and adapt sensor sets for experiments; plan, prepare, and execute experiments with thorough documentation
Analyze vehicle measurement data to identify functional deviations and evaluate system performance; develop practical solutions for system/function development
Degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
1–2+ years of practical experience in complete vehicle or driver assistance system testing
Knowledge of ADAS technologies and modern measurement technology

What you can look forward to
You conduct test drives on national routes to check driver assistance systems and automated driving functions. You independently commission new systems and sensor sets such as LIDAR, RADAR, ultrasound or cameras and adapt them to the experimental requirements. By analyzing the measurement data in the vehicle, you can identify functional deviations and evaluate the system performance. You plan, prepare, and conduct experiments in a structured manner, including careful documentation. With your technical understanding, you develop practical solutions for challenges in system and function development.
What are our expectations
You have successfully completed a degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of study You already have at least 1-2 years of practical experience in complete vehicle or driver assistance system testing. You have knowledge of ADAS technologies and modern measurement technology. You speak fluent German and good English
