Job Description
Manage and execute on-vehicle validation testing, including setup and instrumentation Develop, modify, and review DVPs/DVP&R to meet vehicle and subsystem requirements Develop and calibrate battery diagnostics and OBD systems to meet regulatory and program milestones Create validation procedures aligned with internal standards and government regulations Analyze complex datasets to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues Perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (5Y, Fishbone) Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver calibration and software solutions Lead review and corrective action meetings with stakeholders Report issues, support tracking systems, and generate technical documentation Conduct vehicle flashing, triage, and provide diagnostic data (CAN, INCA, CDA) for validation readiness
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field from an accredited university. Other Engineering disciplines may be considered. Minimum 1+ years of experience in ePT development, powertrain systems development or control systems development or diagnostics within the automotive industry. Strong foundational knowledge of high-voltage systems and powertrain validation.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with calibration tools such as INCA and CDA, X-plot Ability to interface with software and read Simulink models via MATLAB tools. Proficient in advanced simulation tools Proficient in Matlab / Simulink Proficient with CANalzyer and Vector Tools.
