As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading tech company specializing in software engineering solutions for the vibrant world of sports entertainment. Your main responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation testing strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts for APIs and frontend components, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Support and collaborate with developers to improve testing practices and promote quality-centric development.
• Mentor team members on best practices in automation and manual testing methodologies.
• Analyze complex system architectures, focusing on data flow and API interactions, especially REST services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub Actions and scripting automation in Linux environments.
• Identify key quality metrics and manage defect tracking to maintain high standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, including BDD and ATDD practices, to accelerate time-to-market.

You're ideal for this role if you have

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
• Proven expertise in test automation, API testing, and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, data flow, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Linux scripting, and build/automation tools like GitHub Actions or Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of testing at API levels (REST), and familiarity with test management tools like Xray.
• Experience mentoring teams and supporting continuous integration pipelines.
• Passion for delivering user-centric products with cutting-edge technology.

It is a strong plus if you have

• Certifications in automation testing, architecture, or related disciplines.
• Experience with BDD/ATDD methodologies in agile environments.

Language Required for the role

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
