A brief description of the required competencies for this role that speak to the job level entered under the position details. Java, AWS cloud, manual and automated testing tools, load testing tools, great time management skills, ability to lead QA conversations and documenting test plans, ability to learn multiple products quickly and to work with multiple engineers and developers.
A summary of the responsibilities/projects this headcount will be assigned
- Leading the quality assurance and testing work for the consumer products team, which involves creating testing scenarios, running manual testing, implementing automated testing pipelines and flows, guiding and coaching the team on any other testing needs
- Translate user stories into test scenarios and cases and provide feedback to ensure testability of all stories
- Collaborate with other business groups and external teams for end-to-end integration
- Partner with developers to create, maintain and execute automated unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate the automated tests in the CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Product Owners and users to execute user tests
- Own delivery of work from top to bottom, from concept to code to production
- Develop tools and libraries that will enable rapid and scalable development in the future
