Role Title: Senior Quality Engineering Manager

Position Summary

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Quality Engineer Team Leader to join our Growth Quality Engineering team. The team validates our end-to-end flows with new Marriott partners or acquisitions to ensure all technology works seamlessly across the travel journey.
  • Candidate will work across multiple products & engineering teams to manage a squad within the Growth Quality Engineering Test Execution team, ensuring effective execution of end-to-end testing activities for each new Growth release. Act as a technical and operational lead for testers and automation engineers, driving quality and consistency in testing activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee squad-level end-to-end test execution
  • Review and modify test scripts and flows to support release testing
  • Mentor and support testers and automation engineers
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test activities
  • Collaborate with other squad leaders and the Senior Team Leader to align on priorities and best practices
  • Participate in training and process improvement initiative
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement through metrics of quality consistency and client satisfaction
  • Responds to issues identified in project surveys or other feedback processes, to continually improve client satisfaction
  • 6+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business
  • Self-driven, curious and a fast learner, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
  • Relevant experience in systems integration and development, package analysis, and implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Influencing technology strategy by providing strategic advice, being a trusted advisor to discipline partners for leveraging/customizing software to meet their digital marketing requirements
  • Experience with Automation, CI/CD, Release Management processes and Application Deployments to Adobe Cloud.
  • Experience with multiple public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to both Product owners in a business-friendly manner and to Enterprise Architects in most technical detail
  • Experienced in maintaining reusable test assets and integrating Tosca with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.
  • Experience with Ready Api, Selenium or Playwright preferred.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry systems preferred.

Skill and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering (software development & building products), with at least 5+ years in leadership role (people management).

Education and Certifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
