Oracle Fusion Applications Test Lead (FSCM, EPM, Procurement, OTBI)

Role Descriptions

  • Specialized Fusion Testing
  • Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire), FAH, EPM (Planning-Financials, Workforce, Projects), Project Management.
  • Validate reports and analytics built using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
  • Test inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g., EDI, SOAP/REST APIs, PLSQL).
  • Test Planning & Strategy
  • Analyze business requirements, functional design documents, and user stories to understand testing scope.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Define test data requirements and work with the team to have it prepared.
  • Estimate testing effort and contribute to project timelines.
  • Test Execution & Defect Management
  • Identify, record, document, and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA, ALM, or OTBI.

  • More than 6 years of proven experience as a QA Tester, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion Applications.

Hands-on experience on the following is required

Financials (FSCM): General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Expenses, FAH, Project Management. EPM Planning (Financials, Workforce, Projects), FCCS. Procurement Purchasing. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans. Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Zephyr). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
