You will operate with broad autonomy while applying established quality assurance best practices to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software. You will collaborate closely with Developers and Business Analysts to identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities within applications. You will also conducts comprehensive reviews of software changes to validate alignment with Teranet standards and requirements. You will design, execute, and maintain functional and non‑functional test cases, ensuring thorough coverage across all system components. You will verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of test results while clearly communicating testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. Develops detailed test plans, provides reliable testing estimates, and contributes to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Reason for Vacancy: Replacement – Maternity Leave What You’ll Be Doing Accountable for the quality of code delivered to production, ensuring reliability, performance, and stability. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for new systems, enhancements, and releases, defining success criteria in collaboration with end users. Facilitate requirements review sessions with project stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and testability. Identify data‑dependent test conditions and establish clear, detailed test data requirements. Build deep domain expertise across products to design, review, and validate effective test cases and testing approaches. Proactively anticipate quality risks, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed to meet project timelines. Partner closely with Developers and business teams to identify, reproduce, and isolate defects efficiently. Act as a key communication bridge between end users and technical teams, ensuring accurate translation of user‑reported issues. Support client application testing efforts, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and coordination. Investigate and analyze problem tickets to determine root causes and contribute to long‑term solutions. Design, create, and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure full coverage of functional and non‑functional requirements. Maintain, optimize, and expand existing automation test suites to support ongoing releases. Perform additional QA‑related duties as required to support team and organizational objectives. Development Environment and Tools: You will be exposed to a wide array of tools and technologies including: Angular JS, Java, Selenium, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Postman, SOAP UI, Windows, Linux, Docker, and OpenShift About You Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles. At least 3 years of hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong understanding of the full Test Life Cycle and its relationship to the SDLC. Solid experience applying diverse testing methodologies and techniques (Waterfall, Agile). Proven expertise in conducting functional and non‑functional testing across complex systems. Strong understanding of Client/Server and Object‑Oriented architectures. Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or other test management and defect‑tracking tools. Demonstrated ability to build automation scripts using tools such as Selenium and BDD. Ability to write code in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, VBScript, Java, Python). Hands‑on experience testing web applications across varying environments. Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Highly organized with a methodical approach and exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities. Business‑oriented focus with the ability to translate technical issues into business impacts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Self‑motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining accountability. Collaborative team player who performs well under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
