Role & seniority: Senior QA / QA Engineer (5–8 years of software/hardware testing)
Stack/tools: Manual & automated testing; test management and defect tracking; test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, pytest); cross-functional collaboration; test environments and data management
Develop detailed test plans and test cases/test suites for web and device-based applications (including social media family features)
Execute tests (manual and automated) for new features, changes, defect regression, and releases; identify and report bugs with steps/logs
Collaborate with biz, dev, infra, security and other teams; triage issues, verify fixes, and maintain test environments and data; contribute to QA process/tool improvements
Must-have skills: Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or related field; 5–8 years QA/testing experience; strong QA methodologies, test design, and defect tracking; experience with test management and defect management tools; proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, pytest); good understanding of software development/DevOps; excellent attention to detail and communication; experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Nice-to-haves: Familiarity with social media applications and platforms; knowledge of social media features and system integrations; ability to work in fast-paced, experimental environments
