Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Automation Tester to lead testing initiatives while actively performing both manual and automation testing. The role requires strong expertise in Selenium automation, API testing, and structured QA processes, ideally within Retail or eCommerce environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases. Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure full coverage. Develop and maintain Selenium automation scripts; conduct API testing. Validate end-to-end workflows across frontend, backend, and third-party integrations. Lead QA standards, processes, and defect lifecycle management. Support SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing. Facilitate defect triage and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Provide testing leadership and mentorship where needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium framework. Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar). Experience in Retail / eCommerce / Online Store environments preferred. Solid understanding of QA methodologies and defect management. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
