💼 Role: Senior QA Lead
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead to drive quality assurance for web and enterprise applications. This role will lead testing strategy, manage defect processes, ensure high-quality releases, and mentor QA team members within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Test Leadership & Execution
Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases. Lead functional, web, and end-to-end testing efforts. Manage SIT, UAT, regression testing cycles. Oversee defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Project & Process Management
Collaborate with PMs, developers, BAs, and stakeholders across Agile sprints. Contribute to QA estimation, risk assessment, and planning. Establish and improve QA standards and best practices.
Documentation & Communication
Maintain test documentation and training materials. Communicate status, risks, and quality insights clearly to stakeholders.
Team Leadership
Mentor QA team members and coordinate cross-functional testing efforts. Support issue resolution and escalation handling.
Qualifications
8+ years in QA/Software Testing, including senior/lead experience. Strong functional testing and defect management expertise. Hands-on experience in Agile environments. Experience in test strategy, planning, and QA delivery coordination. Exposure to web, API, automation testing (Core Java is a plus). Experience with mobile, SAP, or enterprise systems preferred. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
