Role & seniority: Electronics Troubleshooting Engineer (mid-level, 2–5 years) supporting production, quality, and process improvements; liaison between design, production, and quality teams.
Stack/tools: Test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, frequency counters, power sensors), SMT and through-hole PCB assembly/repair, PCB schematics and layouts, ATE, JTAG/Boundary Scan; familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721); root-cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone); Lean Six Sigma or similar.
Diagnose, repair, and analyze electronic assemblies down to component level; document failure analyses and repair actions.
Analyze failed PCBs from production or RMA, identify root causes, and collaborate to improve yield and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide technical support/training to technicians; ensure ESD/IPC/safety compliance on repairs.
Bachelor’s in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
2–5 years in troubleshooting/repair of electronic assemblies
Proficient with test/measurement tools and reading schematics/PCBA layouts
Experience with SMT/through-hole repair, high-mix/low-volume manufacturing
Strong problem-solving and communication; familiarity with IPC standards
Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and JTAG/Boundary Scan

Lean Six Si
This role is to support production, ensure product quality, and drive process improvements. The engineer (troubleshooting) will act as a bridge between design, production, and quality teams by providing hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor.
Your tasks
Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies down to the component level using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer etc.) Analyze failed PCBAs from production or customer returns (RMA) to determine root cause Document failure analysis reports and repair actions Collaborate with development, engineering and production teams to resolve recurring issues and improve yield Able to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation Provide support on the development and improvement of troubleshooting procedures and test fixtures Maintain compliance with ESD, IPC, and safety standards during repair operations Provide technical support and training to technicians as needed
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics Proficient in using test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, signal generator, frequency counter, power sensor and multimeters Experience with SMT and through-hole PCB assembly and repair Ability to read and analyze electronic schematics and PCBA layout files Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience working in a high-mix, low volume manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and JTAG/Boundary Scan Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 8D or Fishbone Diagram Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement training/certification
