Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & Test Planning Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business and system requirements Translate requirements into comprehensive test plans aligned with project objectives Define complete test scenarios, including data variations, to support end-to-end testing coverage Test Case Development & Execution Develop and document clear, structured, and targeted test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple system modules Capture detailed execution steps and results during testing cycles Ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines Defect Management & Quality Control Log defects and issues using standard procedures and tools Coordinate with development teams for defect resolution and perform retesting once fixes are implemented Track defects through to closure and perform root cause analysis Apply analytical skills to minimise redundant testing efforts and improve efficiency without compromising quality UAT Support & Stakeholder Collaboration Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users Gather and document user feedback during UAT cycles Work closely with vendors, product owners, business users, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle Assist the Test Manager in overseeing testing activities and reporting progress Process Improvement Analyse business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities Continuously refine QA methodologies and adopt best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline 2-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably within the banking domain 1-2 years of experience in a Business Analyst (BA) capacity or demonstrated ability to perform BA functions Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment Solid knowledge of test methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and testing best practices Experience using tools such as JIRA, SQL, and API testing tools Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Relevant certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), CSTE (Certified Software Tester), CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) is good to have
