Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 / year
Role & seniority: Manual Functional Tester (QA Lead) with domain expertise in P&C and Life Insurance billing/payments.
Stack/tools: Billing systems (Majesco Billing; other P&C/Life billing solutions), billing/payments applications, CRM/digital platforms, third-party vendor billing systems, life insurance platforms; end-to-end and integration testing across these ecosystems.
Design and execute test artifacts (Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Execution Plans) and lead billing systems testing initiatives.
Perform end-to-end and integration testing for billing/payments, CRM, digital solutions, and vendor interfaces; validate workflows and business rules.
Communicate with stakeholders, produce QA reports, risk assessments, metrics, and manage escalations; lead cross-team coordination.
Functional/System Testing, Regression Testing, SIT Testing
Ability to act as QA Lead for billing systems; strong test planning and execution capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication
Experience with Majesco Billing or similar insurance billing/payments ecosystems; exposure to on-site collaboration with business/product/architect teams

Role Description
Core Functional Domain Expertise
Extensive hands-on experience as a Manual Functional Tester in both Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance domains. Comprehensive understanding of billing and payments ecosystems, including Majesco Billing, other P&C and Life billing solutions, insurance billing processes, and payment processing applications. Proficient in end-to-end testing of billing and payments applications to ensure accuracy across all touchpoints.
Application Integration Testing
Proven track record in integration testing for billing and payments platforms, CRM systems, digital solutions, third-party vendor billing systems, and life insurance platforms. In-depth knowledge of billing system workflows, business rules, and configuration behaviors.
Testing Skills & Responsibilities
Skilled in developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Execution Plans. Capable of operating as a QA Lead for billing systems testing initiatives.
Leadership & Communication
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, vendor teams, and CRM/digital teams. Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and conflict resolution abilities. Responsible for delivering periodic QA reports, test progress updates, risk assessments, metrics, and escalation management.
This role requires onsite presence at our Bloomington location.
