QA Automation Analyst (Manila)
Overview We are seeking a QA Automation Analyst based in Manila to support and expand automated testing efforts across enterprise applications. This role is intended for a tester with hands-on automation experience who can contribute immediately to test automation while collaborating closely with manual QA and development teams. The ideal candidate is automation-capable, execution-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong foundation in QA fundamentals and a desire to improve test coverage, stability, and efficiency in a complex application environment.
Key Responsibilities Automation Testing
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Identify manual test cases suitable for automation and convert them into automated coverage.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to improve reliability and scalability.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and trends.
Manual & Exploratory Testing (as needed)
Support manual and exploratory testing when required, particularly for new features or edge cases.
Validate end-to-end workflows to ensure application quality from a user perspective.
Defect Management & Collaboration
Log, track, and manage defects using Jira.
Use Xray or similar test management tools to organize automated and manual test cases.
Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
Quality Ownership
Contribute to QA process improvements, test strategy, and automation best practices.
Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively recommend solutions.
Take ownership of quality outcomes, not just test execution.
Qualifications
Experience in QA automation testing, including writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
