Testbench Operator (m/f)
(Fulltime | 40 hours)
As Testbench Operator, you are responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and evaluating (gas) engines and generator sets on the test bench in the workshop.
You ensure the correct execution of test procedures, analyze performance data, identify and resolve malfunctions, and accurately document test results. This role requires strong technical insight, attention to detail, and a hands-on mindset.
Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Assembly teams, you make a direct contribution to continuous product improvement and the reliable delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
In this role, you will
Prepare, build, and configure mechanical and electrical test setups for gas engines and generator sets, including all auxiliary and safety systems Execute test procedures independently, monitor and log performance data, and analyze results against specifications Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing in coordination with Engineering and Quality Document and report test results, log files, deviations, and corrective actions accurately Maintain test equipment and facilities, ensure calibration and safety compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and processes
Your Qualifications
MBO4 degree, preferably in a technical field (or equivalent work experience) Experience with generators or comparable installations Skilled in using measurement and test equipment, technical documentation, and quality records Practical knowledge of measuring, reading out, logging, and analyzing technical data Practical and accurate working approach with strong attention to detail and safety Hands-on, analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
