Second Shift Weekend Friday - Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, designs, develops, and maintains test procedures, tester hardware, and software for production environments. Provides technical leadership for troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Responsibilities Design, validate, and maintain test processes, fixtures, and control systems to meet product and customer requirements. Develop and release test documentation, including work instructions, debug guides, and preventive maintenance plans. Analyze test data to identify yield issues, downtime drivers, and opportunities for improvement; implement corrective actions. Provide technical support for troubleshooting complex failures and coordinate root cause analysis with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with calibration, ESD, and safety standards during all test activities. Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize test coverage, cycle time, and cost efficiency. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and coach technicians; provide training in new procedures and best practices. Communicate effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Support to ensure test readiness and adherence to production schedules. Participate in recruitment and development of technical staff as needed. Other Duties Generate reports and analysis of test data; prepare documentation and recommendations. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field required. 3–5 years of experience in test engineering or related technical role. Knowledge Requirements Strong understanding of electronics, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems, automated test equipment, and instrumentation. Proficient in data analysis and root cause problem-solving methodologies. Ability to develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
