What You Will Do You will work within Narrative Design & Writing to ensure narrative content is functional, cohesive, and immersive across the entire player experience. Feature QA Execute manual testing for all gameplay features, validating functionality, performance, and player experience. Conduct regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure stability across builds. Document, track, and prioritize issues in JIRA, providing clear and actionable feedback to developers and designers. Maintain detailed and up-to-date test cases and plans for all pod content. Story Development Support: Review and validate Story Documents, Outlines, Breakdowns, Capsules, and Scripts for narrative consistency and logic.
Character & World Documentation: Assist with QA passes on Character Bios, Story Bibles, Character Bibles (with Art), and Style Guides (with Design) to ensure alignment between writing, design, and art.
Narrative Tools & Systems: Test Narrative Design Documentation, Feature Wrappers, Narrative Design Specs, Presentation Decks for completeness and cross-discipline clarity.
Implementation Testing: Validate Narrative Mission Flows, 4X Branching Missions, ARPG Branching Quests, Dialogue, Objectives, and Script Implementation for correct triggers, progression logic, and localization integration.
Player-Facing Copy QA: Ensure quality and tone consistency for in-game text including Character, Ship, Building, and Location Descriptions, Asset Naming, and Ancillary text (Modals, Strings, Push Notifications).
