Salary: €3,000 / month
Role & seniority: Senior Automation QA Engineer; end-to-end ownership of QA automation within Solutions team; lead and mentor Automation QA team over time.
Stack/tools: Programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python); Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress; CI/CD integration; API testing (Postman or similar); test management (Jira, Xray or similar); Git; multi-location/remote collaboration.
Design, implement, and maintain a new automated testing framework; define automation strategy and standards.
Own automation code, test results analysis, CI/CD integration, and scalability across products/clients/teams.
Strategic and long-term ownership: assess ROI, scope automation initiatives, scale solutions, and lead/mentor the Automation QA team (local and remote).
5+ years in automation testing; proven framework from scratch
Independent technical and strategic decision-making in automation
Proficiency in Java, JS/TypeScript, or Python
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, and/or Cypress; API testing; CI/CD; test management; Git
Strong communication and advanced English
Advanced CI/CD integration experience

You will combine hands-on technical work with strategic decision-making, ensuring automation delivers real business value. Over time, you will play a key role in building and mentoring an Automation QA team and establishing standards that scale with the organization. \n
Operational Responsibilities Designing, implementing, and maintaining a completely new automated testing framework Selecting tools, technologies, and best practices for automated testing Owning automation code and QA standards, ensuring scalability and sustainability Analyzing test results and continuously improving product quality Identifying opportunities to enhance QA processes and test coverage Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring their scalability and reliability Participating in technical interviews and candidate assessments Mentoring and onboarding new Automation QA team members
Strategic Ownership of Automation Strategy Assessing the feasibility and ROI of automation per project Defining scope and priorities for automation initiatives Planning implementation and scaling of automation solutions Aligning automation approaches with business goals and client needs
Long-Term Ownership Leading and developing the Automation QA team, including both local and remote team members Taking long-term responsibility for establishing, applying, scaling, and continuously improving automation standards across multiple clients and projects
Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in automation testing Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch Ability to make independent technical and strategic decisions related to automation Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python)
