Job Description
Only qualified IT Test Analyst candidates located near the Columbus Ohio area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities
Retail experience required Prior experience testing Order Management Systems required (Experience working on Manhattan Active Omni preferred). Experience testing OMS Customer Service or Call Center modules preferred Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including Waterfall Iterative and Agile Experience working on projects with multiple teams and resources Experience working in an onshore offshore model Experience with HP ALM JIRA or other test and defect management tools Strong organizational and planning skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively Proactive participation in team environment Strong documentation and communication skills Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of the client and customers
Responsibilities
Participates in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes technologies and architectures Creates or modifies test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment Executes and statuses test cases including proof of testing Clearly documents defects and retests fixes in a timely manner in required test management tools Effectively communicates progress and status to test lead and QA manager Delivers quality work to meet the needs of application teams and business partners Works in a collaborative project environment with cross functional teams Assists in driving issues to closure Completes assignments on time in accordance with priorities identified by the test lead
