We are seeking an experienced IT Test Analyst – IT Applications (OMS – Customer Service) to join a high-performing QA team responsible for delivering quality software solutions. This role supports testing activities in a collaborative onshore/offshore model and partners closely with application teams, test leads, and QA management. The ideal candidate will have strong retail experience, hands-on testing experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), and the ability to execute comprehensive functional testing within a structured SDLC environment.
Pay range: $40/hr on w2 to $45/hr on w2
Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand business processes, system architecture, and technical requirements. Create and modify detailed test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements. Ensure appropriate and accurate test data is prepared and available in test environments. Execute test cases and provide proper test status updates, including documented proof of testing. Log, document, and track defects clearly in required test management tools; retest fixes in a timely manner. Communicate progress, risks, and status effectively to the Test Lead and QA Manager. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a project-based environment. Assist in identifying issues and driving them to closure. Deliver quality work aligned with business and application team needs. Complete assignments according to priorities set by the Test Lead while meeting project deadlines.
Retail industry experience (mandatory). Prior hands-on experience testing Order Management Systems (OMS) (mandatory). Experience testing OMS Customer Service / Call Center modules preferred. Understanding of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile. Experience working with multiple teams and resources in a cross-functional environment. Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model. Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools. Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate, coordinate, and proactively contribute within a team environment.
Preferred
Experience working with Manhattan Active Omni is a plus.
