Salary: $40 - $45 / hour
Role & seniority: Systems Integration Test Engineer (DoD contract with intent to hire; mid-career, ~2+ years experience)
Test & verification: software testing, analysis, V&V
Programming/scripting: object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting
Hardware/testing: electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Networking/ops: network configurations, command-line usage
Lab/office: Microsoft Office; lab setup per drawings/port maps
Develop, document, and execute test procedures and test cases; perform V&V
Identify, document, troubleshoot software/firmware/hardware defects; provide corrective actions
Install, configure, validate tactical systems; conduct field and shipboard support; collaborate with internal teams, labs, and partners
U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience; Master’s may substitute for 2 years experience)
2+ years related experience
Experience with AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, or submarine weapon launchers (or equivalent)
Software testing/analysis, V&V, scripting, network operations, electrical test equipment
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; ability to travel (shipboard/international/domestic)
Navy or submarine experience
Further field support experience at labs or submarine home ports
We are currently looking for someone to support the integration, verification, and validation of advanced submarine combat and weapon systems through hands-on testing, system troubleshooting, and field support across lab and shipboard environments.
