We are hiring a Test Automation Developer to join the Corporate Banking IT Department. This role is part of a strategic transformation program aimed at modernizing the financing value chain from Front Office to Back Office, including Finance and Risk systems. You will contribute to a large-scale integration and migration initiative involving FIS Commercial Lending Solution (CLS), helping to build and maintain automated test frameworks that support enterprise-level banking transformation. This is a multicultural, high-impact environment with teams across Paris, Singapore, and Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
As a Test Automation Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and modern automation tools. You will build automation solutions from scratch using technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, API automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Functional teams to ensure strong test coverage and validation across integration and migration phases. You will handle integration testing cycles including planning, regression testing, system integration testing, and functional validation. Maintaining updated test libraries, preparing documentation, and generating detailed test reports will be key aspects of the role. You will also contribute to software validation procedures, performance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Agile methodologies.
Must-Haves
Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in test automation development using Java and Selenium or similar frameworks. Strong experience with Cucumber (BDD), API automation (SOAP UI / Postman), and automation framework design. Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and Unix scripting. Strong SQL knowledge with experience in relational databases such as Oracle. Experience with build and CI/CD tools including Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and GitLab. Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. Experience in integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end validation. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies. Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with global teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred / Good to Have Experience in data migration projects, especially handling financial data. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend or Apache Hop. Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB). Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization concepts. Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or WebSphere MQ. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Dynatrace. Understanding of security principles, OAuth, SAML, and application security best practices. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter. Functional knowledge of Commercial Lending lifecycle or Core Banking systems. Hands-on experience with FIS Commercial Lending Solution (CLS / ACBS). Exposure to banking integrations including loan accounting, document management, and credit systems.
