Must-have skills

About the Role

The Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests across web and API applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable software delivery.

Experience: 4+ Years

Notice period: Immediate to 30 days

Location: Bangalore ( Hybrid )

Key Responsibilities

Designed and developed BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test automation frameworks using Page Object Model architecture.
Experienced in building automation solutions using Playwright.
Experience developing Test Strategies with systems which do not use API as a primary means of communication.
Implemented test scenarios and step definitions using Cucumber for automation testing.
Hands on experience with Gherkin.
Skilled in software testing including functional, regression, front-end, and back-end testing across web-based applications.
Proficient in Java programming and scripting
Performed API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
Executed SQL queries and performed JDBC validations on PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including performance tuning activities.
Utilized project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, and managed version control using Git/GitHub and Bitbucket with active participation in code reviews.
Hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.
Worked on a variety of test types including functional, regression, end-to-end (E2E) automation, performance, and security testing.

Requirements
