Salary: $20,000 - $30,000 / year
Role & seniority: QA Engineer (mid-level) focused on quality across mobile, web, and backend platforms.
Stack/tools: Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, Backend services; API validation; Postman or similar API testing tools; logs, network tools, and API inspection techniques; test environments and data management.
Design and execute end-to-end, cross-platform test strategies for Mobile, Web, and backend.
Validate complex user flows, perform API and backend testing, and ensure regression coverage prior to releases.
Investigate defects, manage defect lifecycle, and partner with engineers on root-cause resolution; maintain environments and identify risks in sprint planning.
Experience with cross-platform testing (mobile, web, and/or backend).
API validation expertise (RESTful APIs, backend logic).
SDLC/STLC knowledge and hands-on testing tooling (e.g., Postman).
Ability to understand system architecture, data flows, and end-to-end risk identification.
Strong communication and independent, ownership-driven delivery.
Startup/remote environment adaptability.
Data integrity checks, regression planning, and logs/network tooling proficiency.
PadSplit is hiring a QA Engineer to strengthen quality across our Marketplace pod, spanning Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, and backend Platform systems. As our product complexity increases, we need someone who can independently validate cross-platform user flows, reduce production risk, and increase release confidence through disciplined, hands-on testing.
We’re looking for a proactive, technically fluent QA Engineer who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and takes ownership of product quality. You’re comfortable working across mobile, web, and backend systems, partnering closely with Engineering and Product to identify risk early, and prevent issues before they reach production. \n
