Role & seniority: QA Engineer (cross-platform); remote startup environment
Stack/tools: Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, backend platforms; API testing (REST); Postman or similar tools; logs, network tools; test environments and data; SDLC/STLC knowledge
Design and execute cross-platform test strategies (Mobile, Web, backend)
End-to-end validation of complex user flows across frontend and backend
Regression testing prior to releases; defect lifecycle management with engineers
Experience with cross-platform testing (mobile/web/backend)
API validation and backend logic testing (REST APIs)
Strong SDLC/STLC understanding; proficient in Postman or equivalent
Ability to analyze system architecture/data flow; strong communication; startup adaptability
Independent defect investigation using logs and network tools
Experience testing in fast-paced remote environments

PadSplit is hiring a QA Engineer to strengthen quality across our Marketplace pod, spanning Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, and backend Platform systems. As our product complexity increases, we need someone who can independently validate cross-platform user flows, reduce production risk, and increase release confidence through disciplined, hands-on testing.
We’re looking for a proactive, technically fluent QA Engineer who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and takes ownership of product quality. You’re comfortable working across mobile, web, and backend systems, partnering closely with Engineering and Product to identify risk early, and prevent issues before they reach production.
