Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (OEC) three times per week, at minimum. Key Roles & Responsibilities · Build an effective QA team, mentor the team and efficiently manage the resources to support the projects and ensure the quality delivery · Guide and provide feedback on team member's performance and behavior · Support EGM on hiring process with acquisition of new talents · Define test strategy and test plan based on software development plan for the projects · Work with the team to design detailed test cases and setup the test environment · Develop test tools and test scripts to automate the testing · Prepare test report, provide initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect prevention · Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies Additional Job Description Required Skills and Experience 10+ years of software quality assurance or test experience in mobile or automotive industry, 3+ years of experience in testing Android code, 3 years as a Scrum lead, Product owner or Team Lead Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools Strong experience with test automation framework (e.g.: Robot Framework / Appium) Programming skills in common languages, such as Python, JAVA Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process Knowledge of connectivity technologies Experience with vehicle communication network protocols (CAN, Ethernet) as a plus Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills to motivate the teams, work efficiently and deliver on time in a fast-paced work environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coordination skills, and interpersonal skills Education and Training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field Advanced degrees and certifications preferred Compensation: The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $164,600.
