Role & seniority: Control Automation Engineer (mid-to-senior), ANZ region, full-time
Stack/tools: Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC/Central Plant, energy solutions; control software (Tridium/Trend/Tracer preferred); project estimation templates, drawings/manuals, commissioning, connected services reporting
Manage and fulfill controls automation projects in the designated region, coordinating delivery and installation
Provide timely control estimations and quotations to support Service Sales and Product Sales; tailor proposals to customer needs
Provide technical support to technicians and sales/service teams; handle commissioning, issue resolution, and customer inquiries; manage connected services reporting
5+ years in a relevant industry; trade qualification
Thorough understanding of HSE requirements; applied knowledge of BMS engineering and energy conservation
Hands-on experience with BMS, HVAC/Central Plant or energy solutions; strong technical competency in BMS products/devices
Experience with Tridium/Trend/Tracer software (Tracer/Trend preferred)
Experience with connected services, remote monitoring, and related reporting

Job Summary: The Control Automation Engineer is responsible for fulfilling control projects, providing timely control estimation, preparing quotations, and supporting both the Service Sales and Product Sales teams. This role involves project managing and fulfilling control automation projects, providing technical support to technicians, assist service sales engineers with control service agreement estimation, and managing and generating reports for connected services. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and support the sales team in achieving their targets.
