Job Title: Manual Tester with Automation Experience

Job Description

sourceCode Australia is seeking a skilled Manual Tester with at least 4 years of experience in software testing, including web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong English skills (reading, writing, and speaking) and a solid understanding of testing methodologies. Experience with test automation is a big plus. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through manual testing while contributing to automation efforts where possible.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure test coverage.
Work with automation testing tools and frameworks (if applicable).
Ensure test documentation is up-to-date and follows industry best practices.
Provide clear and detailed bug reports and test summaries.
Continuously improve the testing process to enhance product quality.
Ensure the application runs smoothly and bugs free in every release.
Be able to join meetings with the foreign team, host meetings or demo new functionalities for the team.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications (at least 4 mobile applications)
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
Experience working with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools
Experience working with automation testing tools such as Appium, Python, Webdriveragent…
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work overtime if required
Hard working, responsible, strong interpersonal and communication skills;
