Role Overview As the QA Manager – WordPress, you will take ownership of our end-to-end quality assurance processes. You’ll lead a team of QA specialists and work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure flawless execution and delivery. This role involves streamlining manual QA processes, scaling automation across projects, and exploring AI-driven tools to accelerate test coverage, defect analysis, and regression validation.

Work Mode: 3 months onsite (Ahmedabad) → Full-time Remote thereafter.

Key Responsibilities Lead the QA strategy and execution for all WordPress deliverables—websites, custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce projects Establish and continuously improve QA standards, test plans, and documentation for manual and automated testing Drive the implementation of test automation across recurring QA workflows using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Identify key test scenarios for automation, such as cross-browser compatibility, form validations, critical user flows, and regression suites Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster releases with higher confidence Implement and manage AI-assisted QA tools for defect detection, visual regression, performance monitoring, and code quality audits Leverage tools like Percy, Diffy, Testim, or ChatGPT-based review workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy Supervise and mentor a team of QA analysts and automation engineers, conduct regular code reviews and QA audits Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and designers to ensure timely issue resolution and smooth UAT cycles Lead post-launch QA audits and contribute to incident reports and root cause analysis for major issues Ensure all deliverables adhere to performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG) standards

Required Skills and Experience 6+ years of experience in QA with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or managerial role Strong hands-on experience in testing WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and WooCommerce solutions Proven track record in setting up and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks Familiarity with visual regression testing and cross-browser/device compatibility tools (e.g., BrowserStack, Percy) Understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test integration into deployment workflows Strong knowledge of performance and accessibility testing tools such as Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and WAVE Excellent communication, documentation, and bug reporting skills Experience with project management and QA tracking tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Trello Ability to manage and scale a high-performing QA team in a fast-paced agency environment

Preferred Skills Experience using AI/ML-based QA tools for anomaly detection, visual testing, or test case generation Understanding of ADA/WCAG compliance, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO QA Familiarity with testing headless WordPress (REST API/GraphQL) or JAMstack implementations Exposure to ChatGPT or other LLMs for test script generation, defect explanation, and QA documentation Background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
