Role Description As a QA Intern, you will primarily support the clean-up, structuring, and improvement of technical documentation across Zettabyte’s software platforms. You will assist in refining specification documents, test plans, test cases, and checklists to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability. In this role, you are also expected to leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar) to support documentation creation, specification drafting, and testing preparation. This internship is an opportunity to develop hands-on QA skills while learning how to responsibly and effectively use AI to enhance productivity and documentation quality.
Responsibilities Support documentation clean-up and restructuring to improve clarity and standardization Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to help draft structured specification documents, testing scenarios, and documentation formats Demonstrate the ability to prompt AI effectively for different technical topics related to QA and software documentation Assist in preparing detailed checklists, test plans, test cases, and specification documents under supervision Execute testing tasks diligently based on the provided documentation Report bugs promptly and accurately during the testing process Generate testing reports summarizing tested features or sections and their outcomes Provide feedback on functionality, non-functionality, and user experience of the platform Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to support continuous improvement of the QA process
Qualifications Fluent in English (both oral and written) Comfortable using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar) to assist in technical documentation and QA preparation Able to demonstrate how they interact with AI for different technical topics, including generating structured specification documents (format, sections, and clarity) Strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of software development, especially the use of AI Familiarity with creating and maintaining checklists, test plans, and test cases Basic understanding of the bug life cycle and bug reporting process Familiar with basic programming/scripting concepts (advantageous) Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus) Strong logic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude Self-motivated, curious, and eager to contribute to a global software team.
