Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Selenium with Java while developing robust test scripts and validating data accuracy using SQL.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Automation Tester Job Responsibilities Include

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java to validate application functionality and user workflows. Perform SQL‑based data validations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across backend systems and test scenarios. Execute functional, regression, and integration test suites to ensure high‑quality software releases. Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution. Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks, improving reliability, reusability, and test coverage. Analyze test results, prepare reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8–10 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation. Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java, including building and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong proficiency in SQL for backend data validation, query creation, and troubleshooting to support automated and functional testing.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
