Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java‑Selenium and TOSCA while performing SQL‑based validations and supporting end‑to‑end test automation.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Automation Tester Job Responsibilities Include
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java‑Selenium and TOSCA to validate functional and regression scenarios. Perform SQL‑based backend testing across SQL Server and Oracle databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Execute automation suites, analyze results, and log defects while collaborating with development teams for timely issue resolution. Enhance and optimize automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with testing standards. Create and run Python or batch scripts to support test data setup, environment preparation, and automation workflows. Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to improving overall QA processes and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. Proven hands‑on expertise in Java‑Selenium and TOSCA, with experience developing and executing automated test suites. Strong proficiency in SQL Server/Oracle for backend testing, with additional capability in Python or batch scripting to support automation workflows.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
