Integration and Test Engineer
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Performs test and integration tasks and activities as assigned in one or more of the following areas: test planning and development, system testing, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses, configuration management, data management and quality assurance.
Performs system-level testing, evaluation, and related tasks and activities. Documents system test results, failure reports, and documentation deficiencies. Isolates root cause of problems with system I&T. Performs maintenance of system test document (updates and corrects procedures). Ability to follow directions of system I&T engineering leads. Follow and execute procedures – installation, recovery, checkout, test, etc.
1-2 years of professional military experience and High School (or equivalency), or college degree or a combination of education and experience. Must have or be able to obtain and keep a DoD SECRET security clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen. Proficient with LINUX Willingness to work overtime and off shift when dictated to support business needs.
Ability to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight when required. Ability to use technical information, tables, and drawings. Ability to perform system configuration or troubleshooting procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Submarine operations is desirable.
