Role Description

This is a full-time, in-office role for an AI Automation Engineer (Intern). The intern will help design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation workflows that improve sales and marketing operations. Daily tasks include prototyping chatbots/agents, integrating models and APIs, creating prompt flows, testing agent behaviour, and working with the sales team to productionize automations. The role offers hands-on experience building real AI systems used by clients in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualificatin/Responsibilities

Strong proficiency in Python for building, deploying, and maintaining production-ready tools and automation scripts — not just basic scripting. Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain) including prompt engineering, function calling, and building multi-step AI agents. Solid understanding of APIs — building integrations, handling authentication (OAuth/API keys), webhooks, rate limiting, and error handling. Experience with email infrastructure concepts - SMTP, email verification/validation, DNS lookups (MX, SPF, DKIM), and deliverability. Familiarity with sales/outreach tools like Clay.com, Apollo, Instantly, or similar - and ability to replicate their functionality with custom-built solutions. Comfortable with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make.com, Zapier) and knowing when to go beyond them with code. Ability to process and manage bulk data at scale (10k–500k+ records) including CSV handling, enrichment, deduplication, and output formatting. Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Railway, or VPS) with basic knowledge of Docker, Git, and databases. Self-directed builder mindset can take vague business requirements, break them into technical plans, ship fast, and iterate independently.
